13FGuru provides public 13F filing research, investor profile pages, watchlists, alerts, and related market research tools. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to users.
Information we collect
When you sign in with Google or Discord, we receive basic account information from the provider, such as your email address, display name, provider user ID, and profile image URL. We use this information to create and secure your 13FGuru account.
If you use watchlists, alerts, subscriptions, or billing features, we store the information needed to provide those features, such as followed firms, alert preferences, payment status, and payment provider order references. We do not store full card numbers.
Our servers may also process technical information such as IP address, browser user agent, request path, cookies, and timestamps for security, abuse prevention, debugging, and service reliability.
How we use information
We use collected information to authenticate users, maintain sessions, provide watchlists and alerts, process subscriptions, prevent abuse, improve the product, and respond to support or legal requests.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use Google OAuth profile data for advertising. We only request Google scopes needed for basic sign-in: openid, email, and profile.
Cookies
13FGuru uses cookies for login sessions, OAuth state validation, language preference, and basic site functionality. You can block cookies in your browser, but login and watchlist features may stop working.
Third-party services
We use third-party services to operate the site, including OAuth providers such as Google and Discord, payment providers such as Stripe and NOWPayments, email delivery providers, hosting, DNS, analytics or security infrastructure, and public market-data sources. These services process information according to their own policies.
Public financial data
Most investment data shown on 13FGuru comes from public sources such as SEC filings, company disclosures, investor materials, public interviews, and market-data providers. Public filing data is not treated as personal account data.
Data retention and deletion
We keep account and product data for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, and operate billing records. You may request account deletion or data access by contacting us.
Security
We use reasonable technical and operational safeguards, including HTTPS, secure session cookies in production, and limited OAuth scopes. No internet service can guarantee perfect security.
Children
13FGuru is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the product changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
